COURSE OVERVIEW
Please note this course has been postponed until September/October 2020. Start date for the module is to be confirmed in late summer 2020.

Work-based learning provides the opportunity for students to acquire academic credit for learning gained from educational activities undertaken in the workplace. This module supports the clinical education provided by London NHS Trusts who are participating in the Capital Nurse Qualification in Specialism (QIS) Children and Young People Emergency Nursing programme. This programme involves the provision of a ‘one course for London’ approach to Emergency Nurse education that is defined by educational standards and common learning outcomes. The aim of this module is to allow students to demonstrate learning from work-based learning activity in emergency nursing and their development as independent learners.
